Both “Rounds” of dance will be timed. Dancers will have up to 3 (three) minutes to execute their
performance; including entrance & exit.
The following Performance Challenges can contain no more than 3 acrobatic tricks: Ballet, Clogging, Contemporary, Folkloric, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Pointe, and Tap. (Lifts, leaps and splits are allowed). Any routine with more than 3 tricks in the aforementioned categories will receive a 2 point deduction. Any routine requiring tap shoes, except in Musical Theater, cannot have taps on tape or 5 points will be deducted off the entire routine.
The Host, Shamiar Spann and the prominent new dance entity “Bring the Heat” is sure to take Dancing to new heights! Bring the Heat is set to expand what you think of dance and bring fire to the stage.
Open to soloists, duos, trios and groups, the most dynamic dancers will set the stage on fire for a chance at up to $15,000 in cash and prizes and Bragging rights if you’re Hot or Not….. Top finalists in two divisions; Junior (Ages 3 to 17) and Senior (Ages 16 to 65) will battle it out on their journey to the finish!
Bring the Heat Challenge Tour will kick-off its first weekend of auditions July 21PstP – 23PrdP in Arkansas and Memphis. Be sure to follow the tour as we go from city to city on a quest to find the HOTTEST Dancers.
Our AUDITION process is simple. We are searching for uniqueness and a variety of dance assortment!! Routines must be notable and have the “it” factor. Performances should be no longer than 4 minutes and include creativity, technique and great showmanship all while utilizing the CHALLENGE of choice…..
All Dancers are required to pay a U$30 audition feeU, if chosen… You will be granted a Golden Flame to meet us in the 1PstP qualifying round held in Atlanta, GA September 1PstP during the Young and Winning Summit.
